Consumer status on dashboard stops after "File uploaded, waiting ..." hot to fix

The Problem

If you upload a document via the dashboard and the status of the uploading document is stopping at File uploaded, waiting ..." in german: Datei hochgeladen, warte ... but files appear in paperless-ng after a while you might be forgotten to set the additional headers for your (nginx) proxy.

The Solution

Double-check your proxy settings with the one in the Documentation > Setup > Using nginx as a reverse proxy.

If you are using paperless-ng on a Synology NAS you can also set additional headers via the admin ui:
