Include cdn assets as submodule

It would be nice to have the cdn assets included here as a submodule, and the references in the view changed to reflect that.

I'm assuming you mean like a git submodule?

For the case where you're deploying this publicly, CDN resources are far superior to local resources (everyone gets good latency and throughput from a localised source.) So the source of the resources would need to be configurable, probably defaulting to use CDN information.

Yes, indeed, I meant a git submodule.

It would probably be better to make it configurable as you say.

However, you could also use something like appcache (link: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Using_the_application_cache) to store all of those resources more permanently on the client side, which would avoid the network overhead(- initially). That would also be beneficial for the mode-loader addon, as all of the ajax requests that would normally be sent over the wire, would be local.

But just an option would also be nice. :)
