How to use MCP resources?

I find no information about how to use resources, i.e., https://modelcontextprotocol.io/specification/2025-06-18/server/resources .
Is the scope of this program only tool calls, or the full MCP spec is implemented?

At the moment, only tools are available. Support for resources and prompts is on the roadmap. Having the full MCP spec implemented would be fantastic, but for now I’m focusing on these first two. In upcoming versions, I plan to start adding support for them.

It’s really helpful to know there are users interested in resources and other parts of the spec — feedback like yours helps me understand where to focus and prioritize new features.

Personally, at the moment I'm looking for a CLI tool that allows to run local inference with Ollama along with using my custom MCP that has both tools and resources, as a local replacement of Claude Code.
Interestingly, this is not a trivial thing. So far I looked at aider and cline, neither of which actually worked well for me with MCP + gpt-oss. And then there were a couple of other CLI tools that just don't have MCP support at all. That's how your tool came also into the picture.
