write_stories_json not generating stories.json files

Hello!

We are testing the viability of adopting this gem to our project but have ran into some issues.

Besides problems mentioned in #164 , #166 and #146, which I've circumvented so far by pinning storybook to older version and not using Vite, I am unable to generate the corresponding JSON for each of the stories.rb file when I run the command:
rake view_component_storybook:write_stories_json

Versions:
"@storybook/addon-controls": "^6.5.17-alpha.0"
"@storybook/server": "^6.5.17-alpha.0"

Please let me know if I can contribute to the fix if it's being worked on, thanks!

Same here I can't generate the stories json

I got into the same issue, make sure you set config.view_component_storybook.stories_paths << Rails.root.join('spec/components/stories') if you're using rspec, otherwise it will look into a test folder.
