Description
Hello,
This is not a feature request but idea to think about.
Let's consider a user migrates their blog from WP to Joomla full of blog posts and the site has awesome reputation and thousands of articles.
After migration of a site the SERP result will be damaged due to changes of URLs.
The idea is: why not to think about a special plugin that emulates typical model of WP router?
It's like date in the URL as:
/2025-04-11/ and etc
Another mode could be emulation of shorter URL like mysite.com/my-first-blog-post (without menu item to each blog posts)
It could save the situation for big blogs and portals.
What do you think?
Added: the main purpose of this plugin could be a necessity of migration. If the SERP will be damaged, user will think twice before making the migration. And since we want to stimulate users to move to Joomla, we should think abouth this scenario first.
The same goes to other platforms except WP with router emulation.
