[BUG] Backlight control under Gnome not working

Hello,
This new build seems to fix the issue, yes.
There are still some bugs, as for example the backlight under gnome cannot be controlled.
Don't mind the webcam error, it's expected, as I don't have one.

Hey there, I had to give up on backlight control on Gnome using D-Bus. It has recently moved in D-Bus and I could not find any documentation on where and how to control it since the change ☹️

So for now, backlight control under Gnome requires ddcutil command-line utility installed. With that installed, the agent should detect and revert to using it under Gnome.

I see, thank you.
I have in fact ddcutil installed, it's working fine stand-alone, but for some reason doesn't come back up in go-hass-agent..

Hey that's interesting. Could you stop the running agent, then start it again manually in a terminal with debug logging enabled:

go-hass-agent --log-level=debug

Hopefully the log should reveal what backlight tool the agent will use (if any). Please post the log on this issue and we can see what is going on.
