Just want to say thanks for this! We've been working with a large MS Access based app for over 10 years. As you can imagine it's fairly difficult fighting the weird quirks of access, and handling manual 'branches' (copy paste files) and stitching modules and changes together...

After finding this about 2 weeks ago, I couldn't believe it, what a great surprise, I was skeptical our app would survive this process of being exported to source and fully rebuilt. (as the app is an absolute behemoth), but it worked! A few things to fix on our side, and LOTS of testing... But it works..

Posted an update of our app today after going through this export/build process. Very exciting times ahead, finally being able to make use of version control/git for this code base.
