dual_source_blending branch fixes the issue with (?) shadows (?) obscuring character models and being too opaque.
It also reduces the size of the padding/border.

Is dual_source_blending branch merged yet? The shadows blurring characters problem still exist in the latest build.

@darkpigeon It was merged but it's disabled for mobile devices and macOS

jpd002 did mention a potential alternative for mobile devices

on mobile, we can read the fragments and do "custom" blending

There's also the Vulkan renderer which is currently available on desktop but not mobile devices (note: at the time of the comment below the Vulkan renderer didn't exist)

jpd002: dual source blending doesn't cover all cases either (...) might be better off creating a Vulkan/Metal rendering back-end that can support all those features

Something between d065c34...8dff487 fixed the glitches that covered the screen during motion.
Possibly gs_fixes as it fixed the garbage in Dark Cloud.

The merge of the mgs3 branch fixed the issue with accessing memory card.
Now able to load and save game.

jpd002/Play-#897 fixes the border on bottom and right side.
