JS.org only permits CNAME records, so we can only point at another DNS record, not an IP address. You'll need to find a provider first that lets you create A/AAAA records to point at your VPS, and then you can request a JS.org subdomain for an appropriate project to target the DNS record containing that A/AAAA record.
