Expected costs for attending API Days Paris 2025 #35
Description
When previously attending API Days Paris, I've been able to do so as part of my employment. This year, I comitted to do so while employed, but now find myself no longer employed.
There's an expectation of me being there to run the JSON Schema conference / room / track. Of course other JSON Schema TSC will be there, which is honestly great and I'm excited! I do feel a sense of responsibility to attend and host the room though, and there's an expectation given I comitted.
As such, I plan to use some of the JSON Schema funds to cover the costs involved.
We do not need to pay for entry to the conference.
Expected costs for our records:
Hotel: £600
Eurostar: £170
UK side transfer: £30 + £40
France side transfer: ? depending on time
Roughly looking at less than £1,000.
