Use Case: provide minor changes to the schema to allow users to further summarize accomplishments (condensed resumes) and align work to skills and projects supported.
Recommended Field Changes/Additions:
Work -> Description -- This field is currently reserved for description of the work field, Id recommend this field becomes an expanded description of all work accomplished
Work -> Summary -- This field should be for condensed summary of work accomplished
Work -> Highlights -- Admittedly this could be the detailed description section envisioned above...however most resumes use highlights in addition to a summary field.
Work -> Projects -- This has been brought up before, While I currently use the main projects section as a baseline and use dynamic linking as a method to attach them to my job, it feels over engineered while a project section could be appended to the schema
Work -> Field -- This should be a new field that is added to actually describe the field of work.
Work -> Skills -- This should be a section similar to the Skill section within the schema to identify skills related to the job
Skills -> Jobs -- as an alternative to the above, there should be an array that allows you to link skills to a specific job
Skills -> keywords -- this section feels underwhelming. and deserves a level of hierarchy called group. e.g., if you put web development as a skill, and you are highly proficient, do you include css, js, react, node, etc. if each of those has varying skill levels, but your general ability is good overall? It feels misused. I think the solution here is a group field that creates a summary of basketed skills like development, project management, communication (and other broad topics) . For example: skills ->group = web dev, skills -> group -> name = js. You could then have skill level and keywords (to support searching where a skill may be valuable)
