I am working with a symmetry-span experiment based on jsPsych. The issue is that the presentation of the symmetry judgement stimulus (part where you have to guess if an image is symmetrical or not) is slow in certain browsers. One person on my research team noticed a significant lag with Chrome on Windows. I have tried running the experiment on Firefox, Opera, and Chrome on macOS and it is snappy and the timing is as expected. I don't see any errors in the console so I'm not sure what else could be the issue.

Hi there,
I am working with a symmetry-span experiment based on jsPsych. The issue is that the presentation of the symmetry judgement stimulus (part where you have to guess if an image is symmetrical or not) is slow in certain browsers. One person on my research team noticed a significant lag with Chrome on Windows. I don't see any errors in the console so I'm not sure what else could be the issue.
The link to the repository is: https://github.com/a124557/Working-Memory-Tests
The file which runs the symmetry-span experiment is: "symmetry_span_task.html"
Thank you
