Request: (press KEY) and (release KEY) and (wait AMOUNT) functions

Would be nice to write something like

(macro (press q) (wait 300) (press 3) (wait 10) (release 3) (release q))

To describe holding q then pressing 3. Makes alot more sense then the current way to write this

looking at this workaround: what about making the template invocation optional. instead of (t! myfunction a mere (myfunction would be enough as long as myfunction is not a reserved string. Would and should (imo) be a breaking change.

I like the thought. Maybe worth including one character for showing template expansion over what it is today:

(!press 0) instead of (t! press 0)

The original reason for t! is that it's a separate atom and it simplified parsing.

Reduces from three boilerplate characters to only one.

Why doesnt the interpreter just check if the first symbol is a template-name and then interpret the rest of the expression as a template?

• reduction of ambiguity has some benefit
• variables and aliases follow a similar pattern.
• forward/backward compatibility, so I don't need to think about all potentially reserved keywords right now
