Hi. Post some pictures of the clock, especially taken directly from above so I can see the PCB? Also, did you install it with the installer here? If so, that allows you to configure the wifi connection and you should be able to go to http://elekstubeips.local/ and see the web page that configures it (just to confirm that the firmware installed correctly). |

That looks like a v2 board. I added the v2 firmware to the web site here. Try that. |

I was recently gifted an xCool Elekstube IPS clock which looks exactly like the IPS v1 best I can tell. Was able to successfully create a backup and tried using the install from the webpage. Looked like everything completed successfully, but the clock would no longer boot. All tubes were complete off.
Could be this isn't compatible or could be something I'm doing wrong. Like the title says, I'm new to these clocks. Was able to successfully restore the original firmware. Really hoped this would work because I can't find any way to configure the weather portion at all. Project looks really cool though!
