Cannot open the _auth.js program

Every time I try to open the _auth.js program, it gives me an error saying "Error: Syntax error; Code: 800A03EA; Source: Microsoft JScript compilation error"

Am I doing something wrong?

(This is my first time using GitHub. I tried to add an image but the URL wouldn't work, sorry)

step 4: Update Your _auth.js File

Navigate to the location where you unzipped the downloaded files.
Open the _auth.js file in a text editor. (Notepad works, but I recommend downloading VS Code to make it easier to read and edit the file.)
