I'm having problems with llvm-mingw-20241015-ucrt-x86_64

I downloaded https://github.com/julelang/jule/releases/download/jule0.1.3/jule-windows-amd64.zip.

The problem is basically the same as #121, but #121 was closed.

I could not reproduce your issue neither in virtual machine nor in real machine.
There were no problems with #121. All compilations were successful.

It would be helpful to investigate if you shared your code and provided more details about the issue.

A few suggestions;

• Make sure you are using the correct back-end compiler. By default, Jule uses clang++ for Clang and g++ for GCC. Sometimes g++ refers to Clang. Usually compiler triggers back-end compiler based on PATH, make sure the PATH variable refers to correct back-end compiler. Otherwise, use the --compiler-path command-line option to specify custom path for the back-end compiler.
• Try using the latest version of Jule by compiling from source code.
• If you do not need to llvm-mingw-20241015-ucrt specifically, try latest version or MSVCRT build.

I don't use the --compile-path option. I have llvm bin added to PATH. Everything I do is julec ., and even though I also have MSYS2 UCRT64 bin added to PATH, gcc -v and clang -v on Windows Command Prompt can confirm that it's llvm is the default.

Are you sure the problem is the same as #121?
Is the error message, source of the problem, everything the same?

I can't debug because I can't reproduce the error myself.
Can you share the errors produced by the backend compiler, it may be a guide.

Have you tried with different version?
Can you follow the steps I mentioned here to make sure with clean setup.

The problem was gone. It's very likely that I accidentally downloaded an older version of Jule but mistakenly think it's the latest.
