Test output is captured without color escape codes

Specifically when running test items within vscode, it would be nice if the test runner process were hooked up to an IO object that looked like it supported color output, so that we could still get colored output from test items in the VSCode Test Results pane.

So that would be nice, but at the moment we are also outputting things to a VS Code OutputChannel, and those don't understand ANSI sequences (or color) AFAIK... We'd also have to check whether the test item output stuff in VS Code understands ANSI sequences, but I think it might.

So not sure how to best handle that... Maybe come up with a different output story than the OutputChannel...
