JuMP-dev 2025 will be held November 17--20, 2025 in Auckland, New Zealand.
10+
11+
This is the week following [CPAIOR 2025](https://sites.google.com/view/cpaior2025),
12+
which will be held November 10--13, 2025 in Melbourne, Australia. (Melbourne is
13+
a 4 hour flight and 2 hour time difference from New Zealand.)
14+
15+
## Outline
16+
17+
The purpose of JuMP-dev is to bring together students, researchers, and
18+
practitioners with interests in the methodological, algorithmic, and software
19+
aspects of [JuMP](https://github.com/jump-dev/JuMP.jl) and related packages. In
20+
particular, we invite new contributors and those who have not met the core
21+
development team.
22+
23+
All participants will uphold the [JuMP Code of Conduct](https://github.com/jump-dev/JuMP.jl/blob/master/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md).
24+
25+
## Schedule
26+
27+
The workshop will be structured as two days of talks, a hackathon, and a local
28+
excursion. The schedule is subject to change at any time.
29+
30+
* Monday 17 November: talks at [GridAKL](#venue)
31+
* Tuesday 18 November: talks at [GridAKL](#venue)

42+
## How do I attend?
43+
44+
To attend JuMP-dev, you must purchase a ticket. Ticket sales will open in early
45+
2025\. Accepted speakers at JuMP-dev will receive a free ticket.
46+
47+
To request a visa invitation, please write to `[email protected]`
48+
with the subject line `Visa invitation letter`.
49+
50+
## How do I give a talk?
51+
52+
Similarly to previous years, we invite participants to present work related
53+
to JuMP.
54+
55+
**Talk submissions are now open, and they will close on February 28, 2025.
56+
Accepted talks will be notified by March 31, 2025.**
57+
58+
**[Submit a talk for JuMP-dev 2025](https://forms.gle/SzbqwzfsRNW97PZt5)**
59+
60+
We especially seek talks about JuMP applications and providing feedback on the
61+
user-experience of using JuMP in industry and teaching.
62+
63+
Speakers are encouraged to highlight the challenges faced and lessons learned,
64+
not only successes. Talks should be aimed at a general audience, but familiarity
65+
with JuMP/Julia can be assumed.
66+
67+
If you have an idea for a talk and are not sure if it will be of interest, ask
68+
the program committee by writing to `[email protected]`.
69+
70+
