Catch AttributeErrors thrown by ipython_genutils during conversion as ValidationErrors (#240)
* Catch AttributeErrors thrown by ipython_genutils during reading and conversion as ValidationErrors * fix docstrings * revert changes to reader and extra test files, update error message * fix test_nbformat
