Broken demo on Binder

The demo appears to be broken when trying it on Binder:

Expected behavior

JupyterLab should start on Binder.

(When I click on the JupyterLab icon in Project Jupyter's site, JupyterLite opens intro.ipynb. Then the "JupyterLab" heading in intro.ipynb says: "See Also: For a more in-depth tour of JupyterLab with a full environment that runs in the cloud, see the JupyterLab introduction on Binder." However, that Binder is different from this repo's.)
