Scrolling doesn't work when viewing diff python source file (*.py)

Reproduce

1. git->View changed file->Select py file->Press "Diff this file"

Bat if I open diff for ipynb scrolling exist and work/

We're having the same issue. In addition, the horizontal scrollbar is at the bottom (off-screen for long files). This seems to not be limited to .py files, but any text file (I've tried .txt and .yaml also). We're on the newest version of JupyterLab (4.4.4) and jupyterlab-git (0.51.2).

We've seen this in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

The workaround is to click and drag downward which will cause the page to scroll down.
