Missing LICENSE File/Information

Hi,

I noticed that this repo does not contain a license file, nor do the copyright notices on the source files contain any license information, with the exception of the icon license. As the project contains many forks on GitHub, I assume usage of this code is ok, however the default is technically all rights reserved. If you could add a LICENSE file, this would clear up any ambiguities as to usage restrictions.

Perhaps add a BSD-3 clause or MIT License if there are no restrictions or an explicit public domain dedication, although that is not valid in some countries.
