I can have a look, assume you want to view in the local webviewer. To clarify, what particular message 8 are you interested in (DAC/FI) or is it Msg 8 in general? Asking as some Msg 8 is already decoded but not all subtypes.

Thank you very much for your super fast response; yes, I want to view the messages broadcast by the remote coast stations in opencpn. I know that it can be received with DAC 1 FI 16

Ok, looked into it and think it is doable without too much work (and seems to be requested occasionally).....

Simple idea would be to add icons on the map that are linked to the location for binary messages like on weather information etc.

DAC 1 FI 16 is currently not decoded and seems to be indicating the number of passengers on board of a ship?? Need to explore further. The messages that I see in the stream with these IDs are super long.

I think this is the one you mean. So it would be simply a location update based on the 7 targets. I think will also implement the other with the meteo data in msg 8
