extensive NMEA stream for evaluation and research

aishub.net used to offer a NMEA stream of all connected stations as a benefit for their contributors. I just learn, from mid 2024 on, this service retired, now only (limited) API access is granted.

To my knowledge, there are only two NMEA streams without access restrictions:

• Norwegian kystverket.no offers a (filtered) stream covering whole country
• station ssia-ais.erau.edu streams (regional limited) data

Is there a chance, aiscatcher.org fills the gap?

Hi Dirk, I never realized that AIShub stopped this NMEA service. It probably is still provided to legacy station owners...

I am on holiday but will give it a think. TBH, I did not have any plans in that direction.
