Controlling Daikin Hot Water Tank Mode via Automation #556
-
|
Hi Firstly, thanks to the authors for this project! I'm trying to control my hot water system by allowing Homeassistant to change the Altherma DomesticHotWaterTank's mode to the 3 options of "Off", "Heat Pump" or "Performance". Changing the mode within the Homeassistant UI works correctly, I'm just unable to control via an automation. I've tried various automation climate control options within Homeassistant, I just can't find one that presents the options of "Off", "Heat Pump" or "Performance". I'm sure I'm doing something silly, can anyone assist? Many thanks |

I've made some progress.
If I configure an automation with a "water heater" device and then use a "set operation mode" I get a text box where I can type in values to change the mode.
I can change the mode by using the strings "off", "heat_pump" & "performance" (without the quotes).
