hi sir . i hope you are fine . i have an issue and will tear it down for main solution i want . sir is there any way of assigning dynamic host port to the pod on creating . actually if my new pod spins up it get stuck because the requested port is already assigned to the one of the pod .

Hi @Umair841 , can you please elaborate a bit more?
By host port do you mean the hostPort as defined in the Kubernetes manifest or ports on your actual host (i.e. where docker is running)? If the latter, then that's not possible with k3d, as docker won't let you expose ports after creating the containers (i.e. the k3d nodes).

If I understood it correctly, you're trying to use hostNetwork: true with a dynamically assigned containerPort, which won't work anyway, as due to the hostNetwork: true stanza, all of the ports that your application exposes are opened on the host. So you would have to reconfigure that app to listen on a different port.
In your case it's most probably not working, because it's listening on port 80 (or at least, that's what's specified in the containerPort), which is like the most common port and most probably already used by the Ingress controller.
Please also note, that we cannot give support for things you try with kops, as this is the k3d repo 😉
