• The first one is a warning, when you're editing a config sensitive data is masked with asterisks, so you have to put it back there again.
• Being able to read a file has nothing to do with kafka-ui itself. This file will be read by the connector. What are the actual problems you're experiencing here?

@Haarolean thanks for your feedback! It turned out that it was my mistake. The quotes in the password were unnecessary.
