How to prevent db-scheduler from picking a task unless a condition is met

Is it possible to configure db-scheduler so that a task is only picked for execution if a custom business condition is met? Otherwise, the task should remain scheduled in the database but not be picked or executed until the condition is satisfied.

Maybe something like TaskResolver.getUnresolved but for task instances instead of task names
