Error while configuring openfst for kaldi-ctc

I am trying to configure kaldi-ctc. But getting the following error for openfst patching
./configure --mathlib=OPENBLAS --fst-root=/home/user/kaldi/tools/openfst-1.8.4
Configuring ...
Checking OpenFST library in /home/user/kaldi/tools/openfst-1.8.4 ...
Checking OpenFst library was patched.
** ERROR **
** /home/user/kaldi/tools/openfst-1.8.4/include/fst/minimize.h seems not to be patched:
patch not applied? FST tools will not work in our recipe.

I have patched the minimize.h file and cleaned and reconfigured kaldi. But the error still persist. Can anyone help me regarding this?

To check the prerequisites for Kaldi, first run

extras/check_dependencies.sh

or to check the gcc version
