I am considering accepting donations, although I am increasingly hesitant as I do not have as much time that I can devote to this project as before. I'm not comfortable with the idea of accepting money with little to no active development to be perfectly honest, although I guess I'm overthinking this (it's not like I'll be suddenly getting dozens of donations per month 😅). I might start accepting donations after the next release and prepare the project to be more open about contributions (beside translations).
