Export problem with 32 bit tiffs

Hi im having an issue exporting in this format, it comes out as black. I even tried flattening the slices im working with since it deals with multiple layers each slice but to no avail. After switching to 16 bit for tiff I was able to export properly but this also means its not fully HDR which is why I made a bunch of plugins to begin with. If there's a way to fix this maybe by altering the export.py please let me know!

GIMP’s internal TIFF exporter uses a subsystem (GdkPixbuf) that can’t correctly export anything above 8-bit/channel, causing black TIFF files.
So batcher might not be able to fix this

If this matches your issue, it will be fixed in GIMP 3.0.4 (already fixed in the latest GIMP revision).

If this is a different problem, does this occur only when using Batcher?

Yeah it might be the same bug. If you want to export tiffs it has to be in 16 bit with save layers off, to get around this I exported as exr while the canvas is in 32 bit and then using a py i made to convert the exr to tiff. even doing all this though it makes the images look like an ai generated program trying to fix a blurry photo and the sky highlights become weirdly saturated. Either way thanks for the response and I value batcher it has been very helpful in mass exporting for my slices.
