Changed Main Machine To Win11, Strange Request

As we all know, the issue this great utility solves in Win10 has been mostly fixed in Win11.

Here's my request/idea: I have 2 or 3 apps I use that refuse to stay where they belong on my desktop in Win11. Is it possible to make PW run in Win11 so it ignores EVERYTHING except the 2 or 3 apps I'm having issues with?

One cmd line switch to ignore all apps, another where I specify the 3-4 misbehaving apps that it doesn't ignore.

Try run PW with command option
-delay_auto_restore 5
this will let Win11 do its job first.

PW will not touch windows which are already in the right position.

Sticking with older version, 5.58, versions after that don't handle progressive web app windows well. I didn't bother reporting it as a bug because I create those PWAs with Brave and Firefox, using an extension for FF. I'm likely a "one-off" type user with 5+ PWA windows scattered around my dual monitor desktop and 3 virtual desktops.

Try the following command option on PW 5.69
-no_inherit_process ”brave;firefox"

I was just replying in the other thread, it looks like Win11 handles those windows fine. Apparently the 5 second delay for autorestore is good enough for now.

I'll keep it in mind if issues arise.
