Hey there,
so i started using PersistentWindows recently because windows10 doesnt remember positions after wake from sleep, and it's been great for that.
this week i've been tinkering with a another machine so i got a hardware kvm so i didn't have to faff about with multiple keyboards, mice and monitors. unfortunately it doesn't seem like PersistentWindows is restoring my windows to my monitor once i switch back the kvm from my second computer to my first one.
i have a slightly strange setup in that i have 3 monitors, but only 1 of them attached to the kvm. when i switch the kvm to the second pc all the windows on my primary monitor on my first pc will be moved to another monitor. on switching the kvm back the windows will briefly move back to the primary monitor for a second, but it seems to negotiate the resolution for a moment and the windows shift back to second monitor.
does anyone have any experience/luck with getting PersistentWindows to work with hardware KVMs? is it because i have multiple monitors but only one of those is plugged into the kvm, or some weirdness of the kvm causing it, it's a ugreen AK700 and it doesnt do edid.
