Unusual memory usage with kernel 4.x on the Ka-Ro TX28 CoM

When I bring eth up, I see the used memory on the TX28 CoM increases slowly but constantly to reach to around 25Mbytes. But the memory usage with the 3.16 Kernel is at about 18Mbytes.
