why does selecting crowd sourced system prompt make transient go away

1. C-u gptel-send
2. i
3. s
4. space
5. select and C-c C-c

transient menu is gone its so annoying. May be i donot know how to use it properly can anyone help please.
bdw if i chose any default system message like or the transient donot go away
