Both devices need the app installed, and the 'act as apple device' config enabled. So both android devices need root, OOS16 just fixes the bug and lets you see the battery status etc.. |

Hello!
As far as I understand, the airpods should be able to support multipoint with the app, but I can't seem to get it to work.
Both phones are android - 1 is a OnePlus 12R and the other is an older Samsung.
In the settings, "Act as an Apple device" has been enabled.
But I can only have one phone connected to the airpods at any given time...
So; do both phones need to have the app installed and thus also both be either rooted or have Android 16? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
