Feature requests: option to choose the name of the first tag of document

For now, the default first tag of vimdoc is someplugin.txt. Is there anyway I can remove the .txt part, so it is just someplugin?

Per :help help-writing:

The first line in a help file should have the following format:

*plugin_name.txt*	{short description of the plugin}

So I actually think having the .txt part seems right.
