Add "repeat every" setting to repeat confirmation notification

It would be very useful to repeat the confirmation notification in case it is missed for example. From a UI perspective this could be simply a "Repeat every x minutes" in settings. This would regenerate the notification at those intervals between the "inactivity timer" expiring and the "wait for confirmation" period expiring.

Would just having it repeat the same notification be sufficient?

I think so! At the moment (unless I've misunderstood) the app generates a single notification, and if the user misses it, the emergency actions are taken when the specified minutes pass. Adding a "then repeat prompt every" timer under existing "hours of inactivity before prompt" would mitigate the risk of false calls/sms/etc by reminding user to acknowledge.

There could be a couple of additional enhancements linked to this (maybe I need to open separately?)

• selecting the audio file/tone played by the notification prompt
• having a secondary type of prompt/action (i.e. "minutes after initial prompt"). I'm thinking here of something which could help a user with notification volume turned down (which may have caused all the other repeating prompts to be missed if user is not looking at device). Perhaps playing audio file as an alarm (STREAM_ALARM) ?

Instead of repeating the notification, would a suitable alternative be making the notification a full screen warning that will take over the user's screen and just keep flashing/vibrating the phone until it is acknowledged? This was a recommendation from another user and I think it would be more robust than just repeating the notification.
