feature req: gps options #44
Description
Gps options would be useful since not every device has a gps, the gps cannot connect everywhere and the gps may be not accurate enough in all cases. Gps in some devices can cause huge battery drain So it might not be advisable for some users.
Gps preferred accuracy by meters: keep polling the GPS until the gps accuracy meets the minimum accuracy with a timeout if it can't be reached. Timeout will use best accuracy found.
Poll gps location by time until lock, eg: poll gps location every X minutes or hours until it gets any lock regardless how long it takes, no timeout until some kind of lock happens.
Poll gps location by time until accuracy.poll gps location every X minutes or hours until it gets preferred accuracy lock regardless how long it takes.
Manual poll location gps search and use this location. : Poll gps and use location found now for all alerts until changed.
Disable gps and use Manual gps location input: put the location in by hand and use for all alerts until changed.
Disable address lookup: without internet this will always fail so some people may want to turn it off.
There are many uses for this app, from hiking, cycling, or siteseeing where you if l you are constantly moving and may need help at any location.
Or you might use the app for online dating where you change locations every few hours and need a very specific location in an emergency and have the ability to lock the location yourself , before you get risky.
Or you are elderly and are always in one place for long periods of time, like at home.
And there are other people with other issues that might need specific uses for the gps location and usually have battery issues. (Addicts, prostitutes, etc)
