And yes you need a jumper at S0. With no jumper at all, no drive-select wire is connected, and the Gotek will never be selected, and so will never respond to any host commands. |

Solved myself but didn't see a post with the solution.
Make sure and reset the EEPROM config (no flash drive installed, press and hold both buttons for 5 seconds, display changes to 'rst', release the buttons.

I've tried lots of different variations on this but no luck. Did I misunderstand this feature? Is this not supported? Is this a bug?

Does the filename have to have 4 digits? There are only 3 qty 7-Segment, so this seems error prone.
Not sure if it's relevant but when reassembling my equipment I wasn't clear on where the jumpers should be on the GoTek so I moved them all so they didn't connect anything (ex. S0 is OFF). Is S0 required for Flash Floppy? Any idea where I would see the error for this?
