Higher Level Debug possible? #999

Hi,

I'm having an issue with a Gotek ((AT435) on a TRS-80 Model 4P that runs FF. I'm FAIRLY sure it's not FF, but I seek it's help to debug the issue.

I'm trying to format a filesystem in LS-DOS (Or TRSDOS, or DOSPLUS4) and when I see the format go track by track, I see the "T" increment, and "W" flash every time it claims to "format", however, when it goes back to verify, I see nothing on the screen. If I put an HFE that had a formatted filesystem with files, after the format (If no verify) there is still the whole filesystem there. Oddly, if I try "copy this/cmd:0 that/cmd:0" the operating system claims it copied, but no changes. I've used a FF.CFG before that had write_protect = no in both drives if that makes a difference. With a Gotek on :0 I can boot, run programs, etc. But as soon as I want to write, nothing.

So I was looking for a more involved debug that would tell me "Told me to go to track 11, told me to write bits 0000 to the first 4 bytes, told me to .... " etc. Is there a "verbose" version of logs?

Tnx, Tuc
