After having the error in #311 I made the correction found in #313 but then got the following error:

and no geometry is produced in the 3d view.

Switching to nightly OpenSCAD-2025.12.29.ai30244 solved the issue for me

We, along with many other projects, do not support OpenSCAD "stable." For context, that version was released in 2021. It is an order of magnitude slower, and has trouble with more complex geometry.

We would offer support for a 2025 or even 2024 version of OpenSCAD. However, the only options available are "stable" and "nightly".

Edit: This is really an OpenSCAD version ing issue and I encourage you to file a bug report there.

The most we can do is adjust the README to note that "nightly" isn't just a recommendation but a Requirement.
