Option to specify cylinder direction missing?

I have re-downloaded the OpenSCAD files and in the past with a previous version I was able to specify the direction in which cylinders are cut (x, y or z). I can no longer find these options. Were they removed? Have they moved to another routine? How would I add a cylindrical cutout along the bin, not perpendicular to it?

I ran into a similar issue and my workaround was to use rotate and translate. To illustrate using gridfinity-rebuilt-bins.scad, set

cut_cylinders = true;

then add the line shown in bold before the call cut_chamfered_cylinder. This should produce a cylindrical cutout along the bin. You can adjust depth_real to get the proper length cylinder. Hope this helps!

Yeah I patched it in a similar way for me, I was just wondering whether I just don't find it anymore or if it deliberately got removed...
