Describe the bug
Virustotal scan of the Windows 64 .EXE for v2.2 results in 36 vendors flagging it as a malicious payload. I've reported this to the community there to indicate it is potentially not but I thought you should be aware that it is actively being analyzed by VT at this address: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/14e94f9a844c9a869bf7066021b59e7b24e9d610e8550a76b0f06dbf4b003f18/behavior as well as being blocked by Windows Defender and MalwareBytes as dangerous.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Visit https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/14e94f9a844c9a869bf7066021b59e7b24e9d610e8550a76b0f06dbf4b003f18/behavior
  2. Examine Results
  3. Respond to Bug Report with Further Clarification
  4. Attempt to install on Windows 11 x64 running MalwareBytes
  5. See Windows Defender Red Block Screen
  6. Override and allow to run
  7. See MB block and delete .exe
  8. Respond to Bug Report with Further Clarification

Expected behavior
Download, install, run without malware flags by security vendors

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro x64 Version 24H2, OS Build 26120.3073
  • GPU model: NVidia 4090 RTX
  • Patch commit used: A4293A8320F731395365D994AFB55CB4 (MD5 Checksum) - v2.2 of Installer
  • Nvidia driver version: 572.16

Additional context
Please let me know whether this can all be corrected / cleared up with the vendors and if not, why.
