kiro logged me out

now when i do the login flow:

i always just get:

cant use my 200 USD subscription because of this ... i am on latest build of kiro.dev on macOS apple silicon

This is a critical issue. Our entire team’s work has effectively been blocked because AWS Identity Center login is currently failing. It’s extremely concerning that a change impacting authentication appears to have reached production without adequate testing.

AWS Identity Center is primarily used by enterprise customers, so outages like this have a direct and significant impact on teams relying on AWS for daily development workflows.

At the moment, we are forced to shift to alternative tooling (Claude via VS Code) because Kiro cannot even be opened due to the inability to log in or authenticate.

Please treat this as a high-priority issue, as it is preventing normal usage entirely.

I've been frustrated ever since it stopped remembering my login link and I had to re-enter it every day. But then suddenly they started needing me to add the region last week as well, which I thought was strange.

I can still log in, but to fixerivan, just a thought but did you try a different region? Mine has us-east-1 in the default example but that's actually my region. I find it odd that your displays a different region as the example. Try some other regions and see if it lets you in.

The region change did not work for me. This is disappointing, but I suggest checking out Claude Code as it also has support for Bedrock models, if you don't use the spec generation feature.
