🧐 Feature Request: Dark Mode for Listmonk – Any Plans?

Listmonk is an outstanding, modern newsletter tool that offers a great set of features.

However, the question remains: Why does a native Dark Mode feature still seem to be missing in 2025?

Dark Mode is now an industry standard for comfort and efficiency:

Eye Strain Reduction: Significantly reduces eye fatigue during long work sessions, especially at night.

Battery Efficiency: Saves power on OLED/AMOLED screens.

User Preference: A preferred aesthetic for a large number of users.

Considering how future-focused Listmonk is, the absence of this feature is surprising.

Are there any current plans to implement a Dark Mode to ensure Listmonk is keeping up with modern user experience standards?

In the absence of a built-in dark mode, why don't we create a community dark CSS theme?

In the Settings, there's an "Appearance" tab which allows you to add CSS and JS overrides for either the admin dashboard or public-facing pages (or both):

Here's a quick and dirty example using inversion:

Sass, less, or whatnot; it's all the same shit. It all compiles to CSS. No matter the language.
Id all for dark themes, but written in real language, not SCAM.

If you combine it with prefers-color-scheme options in CSS it goes depending on your system settings 😄
