Many development clusters use a self-signed certificate, that should be supported (which is not right now).

I like the HTTPie approach of using single flag --verify. You could skip verification, or to pass a CA-BUNDLE file. See: https://httpie.io/docs/cli/server-ssl-certificate-verification
