how do clip skip settings correspond to webui?

I am training usually with clip-skip 2 setting.
Then a few days ago i read up on how everydream2 trainer works, and their setting seems to be that clip-skip 2 = 3rd layer of clip as the last layer of clip == clip-skip = 0.

As auto1111 is using clip-skip = 1 as the last layer of clip i wanted to ask how exactly is the clip-skip implemented in this repo?

Is no clip-skip option == last layer of clip?
is clip-skip = 1 == last layer of clip or is it 2nd last layer of clip?
