Fallback font

I am using Terminus font for dwlb, but I want to be able to set a particular fallback font for the purposes of displaying icons. Currently dwlb does actually display icons, but I'm not sure where they are coming from since Terminus does not itself contain them, and I want control over that.

Some icons are displayed as the bitmap siji glyph, and some are displayed as a TTF icon (presumably pulled from one of the Nerd fonts I have installed), I suppose depending on availability. I would like to just use siji for all the icons.

I suppose this is a feature request, but if there is an easy way to do this already I am all-ears.

After some research I have found that you can set systemwide fallback fonts using FontConfig. It serves my purposes, but I won't close this issue myself as I think it could still be a useful feature, and well facilitated by fcft.
