Suggestion: use filter expressions instead of tagged values

I have a larger TiddlyWiki, and most of the data in it is kept connected by fields. So using filter expressions is much better than using specific tagged values, and TiddlyWiki's filters are very powerful and give much more scope for use.

There are two reasons for tags instead of fields:

• Tags are visual, allowing you to easily recognize that a tiddler is part of one or more presentations.
• More importantly, the tag pill enables reordering of slides, a task that is otherwise challenging and not user-friendly for basic users.

Your proposal could be considered an advanced option, and I will explore how to implement it. It is important to note that the slide number, sorting, and reordering functionalities should be adjusted accordingly.

The sort question allows the user to use the sort filter. This way the user doesn't have to manipulate the tabs to sort. I usually choose to add a numeric prefix to fix the order. Or use a list field to specify the order of the entries.

Another way to handle this is to perhaps provide two options, using the filter variable if there is a filter parameter, or the tag parameter if there is not. That way basic users could use tags, and those who like to research TiddlyWiki could use filters to enhance the experience.

I think all these are easy for advanced users like you! but very difficult for students only know basic wikitext and prepare their reports in TiddlyWiki or presentation there!
